The Himalayan Herbal Study & Trek tour is organized by The Centre for Ayurveda & Indian Systems of Healing (non-profit Canada) in collaboration with the Himachal Pradesh College of Ayurveda and Society for Environmental and Rural Awakening (ERA) India.

Cancellation Policy

CAISH must receive notification of cancellation in writing. At the time we receive your written cancellation, refunds based on the total fare are as follows:

Cancellation more than 30 days prior to departure = 50% refund
Cancellation 45 days prior to departure = 25% refund Cancellation less than 30 days prior to departure = no refund

PERSONAL INFORMATION, ILLNESS AND DISABILITY:

Participation in our Trek/Tour/Adventure Camps require that you be in generally good health and it is essential that participants with any medical problems, illness, disability or undergoing treatment for any physical or medical condition make them known to us well before departure.

Such participants must make arrangements for the provision of any medication or other treatment which may be required during the Himalaya study & trek program.

Failure to make such disclosure will constitute a breach of these participation conditions and result in such persons being excluded from the Trekking. We have the right to disqualify any participant at any time during the trip if we feel the participant is physically incapable and/or if a participant’s continued participation will jeopardize either the individual involved, or the group. There will be no refund given under these circumstances. All information provided to us will be treated as confidential and will not be revealed to others.

PERSONAL INFORMATION, ILLNESS AND DISABILITY:

Itineraries are based on information available at the time of planning and are subject to change. ERA India collaborative partners of CAISH reserves the right to change expedition dates, people or itineraries as conditions warrant. If a trip must be delayed or the itinerary changed due to bad weather, road conditions, transportation delays, government intervention, airline schedules, sickness, or other contingency for which . CAISH &ERA or its agents cannot make provision, the cost of delays and/or other changes are the responsibility of the participant.

This section defines, CAISH or ERA responsibility with respect to Himalaya Herbal Study & Trek, including extensions and independent arrangements. CAISH & ERA its Owners, Agents, Associates, Guides and Employees give notice that they assume no responsibility howsoever caused for injury, loss, or damage to person or property in connection with any service resulting directly from: weather problems, problems caused by nature, delays, expenses arising from strikes, thefts, pilferage, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, terrorism, government restrictions or regulations, and discrepancies or changes in transit or hotel services over which it has no control. If situation arises changes in the itinerary will be made keeping in mind as making the least possible deviation from the original itinerary. . ERA will not be held responsible, give refund, bear the cost or pay for inconveniences caused due to the above mentioned reasons or cost of preparation for trip (including airfare and any other expenses).

On confirming and enrolling the Himalaya Herbal Study & Trek with CAISH with the depositor/ participant acknowledges that he/she has read and understands the above recited terms and conditions, and agrees to be bound by them.
